Martin was the only RNSC competitor at this meet, and was also the only male in his age group. So despite achieving 'Personal Worsts' in all 4 races, he won 4 gold medals.

Helen was our sole intrepid traveller to venture to Aberdeen for this long course event. In Helen's own words:

​​"I competed in the 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke, this is the first time at Nationals and had a great time. It was amazing to learn so much and be inspired by so many fast swimmers. 

I am very grateful to our friends at Barnet Copthall who adopted me for the weekend and invited me out for several good meals. 

Here are my times : now looking at Europeans and Worlds in 2027!

• 50:  49.56 (PB)  (Entry time 51.10) 
• 100:  1:50.16  (I've never done a LC 100 before)!
• 200:  3:56.95  (Not a PB as entry time from a month ago was 3:52.59)"
