This meet draws fast swimmers from all over England. Four records were broken - 2 European and 2 British. Most notable was Edward Hoy from Shrewsbury, aged 95, who finished 800m freestyle in a time of 23:02.82 which was a new European Masters record.

*Unfortunately Paul C was disqualified in his 200m breaststroke race. Those eagle-eyed judges love spotting asymmetrical hands on the turns.
